WE ARE CURIOS
The Potential
of Water
Emerging research is unlocking groundbreaking insights into molecular water science. One theory suggests that water may exist as two distinct liquids with different densities, while another proposes the existence of coherent and non-coherent phases within its structure.
Water is responsive to its surroundings, influenced from materials, temperature, light, and even vibrations.
Through the lens of quantum mechanics we are beginning to uncover a deeper understanding of water and its foundational role in life - an idea long embraced by ancient wisdom.
At Imivik of Greenland, we believe in unlocking the potential of water to transform the way we live, work, and connect with one another.
Our Belief
We believe that unlocking the potential of water, can transform our way of life for the better.
“It’s hard to put the drinking experience into words.
Thomas løhren busch
It’s truly sensational.”
Tales of
Angakkussarfik
Angakkussarfik is an area on Disko Island near the Uunartuarsuk Spring. The name translates to "a place where aspiring shamans are trained.”
The Spring was revered even in ancient times, and the tales suggest that the purity of the spring and its ability to remain unfrozen during the harshest Arctic winters, has been a determining factor in establishing Angakkussarfik.
The connection between nature, purity, and spirituality continues to echo through this sacred site, reminding us of the powerful bond between the Uunartuarsuk Spring and Greenland’s rich cultural heritage.
THE TEAM
Experienced
& Devoted
Imivik of Greenland is led by a dedicated team blending Danish and Inuit heritage.
United by a shared purpose and a commitment to science, we are driven by a common ambition: to share the purity and balance of the Uunartuarsuk Spring with those who understand the transformative potential of ultra-clean, soft Arctic spring water.
OUR GREENLANDIC CONNECTION
Inuit
at Heart
For thousands of years Inuit has outlasted the harsh arctic by fostering a deep respect for nature and sharing its resources. By distributing the daily catch, everyone in the communities would not only survive but also prosper.
The Inuit approach to nature and utilization of the resources has always been rooted in a deep connection to something greater. With respect for our Inuit heritage, we only take from what is already there, and we support the local community on Disko Island by sharing the value we create.
Respect for the land, its people, and its history is at the core of everything we do.
